With more than a decade of teaching experience, she is very comfortable speaking and working with students! Her presentations are well suited for 3rd - 7th grade students, as that is the ideal age range for her books. Presenting to Adults
While Juliana’s main focus is with elementary and middle school students, she also has experience presenting to adults. Her presentation, “Setting as Character”, is an insightful discussion on the power of place. She believes that place is a fundamental force behind story and that often, setting dictates the story that will be told. This presentation also touches on the healing power of writing for the child within ourselves.
